Zoom Portraits in Worcester Wood

It turns out that a 70-300mm zoom lens can be a great asset when you're out exploring, and want to stick to social distancing guidelines. Today's images come from an afternoon saunter through Worcester Wood...

Aside from enjoying the chance to play around with such a shallow depth of field, I also couldn't help but appreciate the wry irony in the above picture.

The same shallow depth of field also works nicely with the foliage of the trees. I must express a lot of gratitude for my Dad, who's comfort zone doesn't really cover posing for pictures.
