Today I’m excited to unveil a video that’s been in the works for some time now: a video campaign for awareness of the My Gloucester Nine photography competition.

Funded by the Gloucester Culture Trust, My Gloucester Nine has been set up to give photographers of all skills and experience an opportunity to explore Gloucester and see what unique images the city can provide. The shoot for this video involved travelling around the city with Martha, the competition’s organiser, and capturing all the interesting landscapes and architecture we could find. From the Cathedral, to the docks and every obscure little alleyway in between Gloucester did not disappoint.

If you’d be interested in taking part in the My Gloucester Nine challenge, all you need is a device that can take pictures and an Instagram account. Head on over to the official website for details on the rules and submission deadlines. As Martha says, photography is for everyone and so is Gloucester.
